On the crazy, chaotic run of the so-called "Kamikaze Kids," the U of O's basketball program

The topic relates to my new book, "Mad Hoops," on the crazy, chaotic run of the so-called "Kamikaze Kids," the University of Oregon's basketball program of the 1970s. It was an overheated era when the Ducks were deeply beloved in Eugene and in other parts of the state, but vilified up and down the West Coast for their aggressive style, with the vaunted John Wooden one of the chief detractors.
